Essentially anywhere on the Island where the fishings are open to the public at the cost of a ticket although for salmon the bulk of the effort and my recommendation would be the River Snizort, by far the most prolific salmon river on Skye.
Salmo Salar - The Leaper
Trout fishings are primarily focused on the extensive fishings of the Portree Angling Club in North Skye, particularly the Storr Lochs, but there are also other trout lochs particularly the hill lochs in the shadow of the Trotternish Ridge where an excellent day can be enjoyed.
Fishing on the Storr Lochs can be either by boat or bank.
Hill Lochs are bank fishing only.
Some of the remoter lochs require a "walk in" where a modest degree of fitness is necessary.

Please note that no rod licence is necessary in Scotland but it is a requirement to purchase a fishing permit. The costs vary depending on the water fished and the time of year, for example in 2009 a day ticket for fishing the Portree Angling Club lochs, by bank fishing, was £10 per rod, boat fishing on the Storr £25.

On route to a hill loch in South Skye
Salmon fishing on the Snizort in 2009 varied, depending on which month, from £35 to £60 per rod per day.
In all cases I only charge you the cost of the ticket, I make no mark up except where I incur a cost to collect upon your behalf.
